Hard Rock Cycle Park

Vrooooom! We trailered the dirt bikes up to the lake house and on Tuesday took the boys and best bud Kyle to the Hard Rock Cycle Park in Ocala. It is a really cool place if you are a kid on a dirt bike. Not so cool if you are a mom with a kid, or three, on a dirt bike. Let's just say we stopped by a fire station to get some help with our directions on the way there and the young fireman said to us "We fly a lot of people out of there." This explains the sign at the gate stating that once you are on Hard Rock property, you give up your right to sue them. Not sure that is legit, but kind of makes you think, what the heck are we getting ready to do?? Upon our arrival, Grayson was more than a little upset with us, when he realized that we would only allow him to ride on the pee wee track. Grayson was certain he was ready for the big main track and had his argument fully prepared. After witnessing numerous grown men on huge bikes soar through the air at what seemed like 70 miles an hour, we decided to stick with our original plan. Grayson quickly adapted to the plan and the boys enjoyed the pee wee track safely for several hours. Billy had to jump the fence twice, yes he actually jumped, and administer patient care to two other boys while at the track. Luckily, they were both fine. Bruised, but nothing was broken. Grayson, Ronnie and Kyle had a great time, but I am not so sure my nubby fingernails can handle another visit anytime soon.
