The day after the initial yellow traffic light episode, Ronnie exited the school bus and let me know that all he had to do was "show back up" and he was on green again. We had several days of green behavior. On Thursday of this week, however, nine days into the school year, Ronnie brought home his second yellow traffic light. I stated to him "Ronnie, that make TWO yellows". He replied, "But mom, I have SEVEN greens." Kind of hard to argue that logic. In lieu of another apology letter, I told Ronnie that he had to apologize in person to his teacher this time. He apologized by saying "Mrs. Platt, I am sorry and I will do gooder". To which she apparently said "Okay". I still think that if the school would tell them to sit "indian style", instead of the politically correct, "criss-cross applesauce" we might not be having this issue!

Mellow Yellow
